Mentor Freebie Kits from DMC

Published by mstewart at 10:20 pm under Needlework Edit This

A few years ago I did some Christmas ornaments with a group fo homeschool kids ( both boys and girls). The kids loved them. During my research for free stuff I came across the DMC mentor program. Basically- you sign up as a “mentor” someone who wants to teach stitching to a group. They can be used for girl guides or other groups- perfect for homeschool groups. I had some kids over tonight that we interested in some of my finished pieces hanging on my wall and asked if they would like to learn and I hauled the free kits out.
I just checked website and they still have them still same pattern :-) You get a little flower pattern, needle, floss and basic instructions in each kit,. Each mentor set had 5 sets as well as “certificate” and pin for the mentor. Well worth it :-) Was free shipping as well if I recall.
